NWACC's Social & Behavioral Sciences programs can help you start the career you want in a broad range of fields. Whether you're ready to make an impact on your community, work with children as an advocate, or protect and uphold the law as a paralegal, you'll find the program for you.
You can work towards earning credits for an associate of applied science, a technical certificate, a certificate of proficiency or transfer degree plan or earn credits in general education courses like anthropology, history, philosophy, psychology, geography, social work, sociology and more.

AmeriCorps Jumpstart
Join AmeriCorps Jumpstart to prepare kindergarten children for success by serving in under-served classrooms and helping them build their language, literacy and social-emotional skills.

The NAHAP task force organizes public lectures and educator workshops focused on Holocaust knowledge and mass violence awareness.
