Construction
Through NWACC's high school concurrent construction technology courses, you'll learn the materials of construction, industry codes and laws, and survey techniques, as well as how to estimate, schedule and manage small and large projects.
After successful completion of the construction courses, you will receive 12 hours of college credit from NWACC and a certificate of proficiency.
With NWACC's location in the fast-growing area of Benton County and nearby Washington County, you will have access to numerous construction-related jobs.

NWACC offers this high school concurrent construction program through its Secondary Career Center. Through the center, courses are free of charge and certification fees are waved for currently enrolled high school students.
By taking the concurrent construction courses, you can earn the following certification from NWACC before graduating from high school:
- Certificate of Proficiency in Construction Technology
After earning a certificate of proficiency and receiving additional training in construction, you can find job opportunities as:
- Trained field supervisor
- Estimator
- Project engineer
- Project superintendent
