COVID-19 Update - Spring 2021

For your safety in Spring 2021, the majority of NWACC’s student services and resources will be available online and some will be in-person by appointment. NWACC Workforce Development is a Partner School Provider for Career Readiness Certificate (CRC) testing. Currently, all in-person proctoring/monitoring of applicant tests are suspended due to COVID-19. Please follow the instructions below until further notice: 

  1. Go to Arkansas Job Links to register and create a profile (or update your profile—must be current). Record a participant number if provided.
  2. Contact your local Workforce office to let them know you have registered. 
  3. Select and take your practice exam at
  4. Contact your local Workforce office to advise when you are ready to take the exam. You will need an appointment to test. 

Workforce Development provides training and development opportunities across a variety of specialized needs, ranging from small businesses looking for team training options to individuals interested in beginning a career in construction. We offer strategic community partnerships and world-class training that allow students to earn an Associate of Applied Science, technical certificates, and certificates of proficiency. Now open, NWACC's new Integrated Design Lab offers courses in construction, visual arts and design. The facility houses space for sculptures, ceramics, a Fab Lab with 3D printers, a CNC router, laser cutting equipment and other tools. Students are encouraged to test creative entrepreneurial ideas by utilizing the skills learned in various classes.
