Apply for Financial Aid

Follow the steps below to begin the process of applying for financial aid and getting help paying for college expenses.

Create a Federal Student Aid (FSA) ID

 This ID will be used to log in to certain U.S. Department  of Education websites.

Apply for Aid

Complete your FAFSA and apply for the PELL grant, Stafford Student Loans and the Federal Work Study Program.  Our school code is 030633.

IRS Data Retrieval Tool

Use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool to import your tax information into the FAFSA.

Additional Steps to Finalize the Process

After completion of the FAFSA, you will receive an email in your NWACC email account alerting if you have action items to complete or if you have been awarded

Log into My NWACC

  • Select the Financial Aid tab on the left hand side
  • Select Award Information then Award by Aid Year
  • View award information or action needed/link column and select links for required items
  • Select each unsatisfied requirement to open form or view instructions.  Print and complete all action items as required.
