Engineering

Three People Working on Computer and Surrounded by Machinery

In NWACC's engineering courses, you'll practice applying science and math
to problem solve and turning abstract ideas into reality through design and construction.

Engineering is the process of designing the human-made world and requires in-depth knowledge of mathematics, physics and computer application. Engineering typically consists of the primary branches of chemical, civil, electrical and mechanical engineering.

Engineering courses can be transferred to a four-year institution and satisfy general education requirements. Connect with your academic advisor for more details.

By pursuing an education in engineering, you may find employment opportunities as a mechanical, electrical, civil, environmental or aerospace engineer and others.
